How to Calculate the Quantity of Road Asphalt

Calculation of Asphalt amount

Estimate the quantity of asphalt required, mistreatment geometrical formulas and plans or measurements, together with breadth, length, and depth (thickness), Estimate the density of the recent combine to be used.

Example:

Calculate asphalt for 50m long road has 15m breath take 15cm as thickness. ignore camber use 2330 kg/cu.m dense asphalt.

Solution:-

What Square Measure Rooftops and Types?

Asphalt Quantity: = Length x Breath x Thickness

Volume: = L x B x T

Volume: = fifty x fifteen x zero.15

Volume = 112.5 m3

Asphalt amount in Tons:

Currently, Weight of the is Asphalt= Volume x Density of Asphalt

Weight of Asphalt = 112.5 x 2330 = 262125 kg/1000 Weight of

Asphalt: = 262.125 Tons

Density: = Mass/Volume
